i will always remember June 4th

I’m pretty excited to post that I’m a grandma. Woooot!

I promised my son, Ben, that I wouldn’t post any baby photos until he and his wife, Amber, had the opportunity to share them first. I’m keeping that promise…sorta.

Colette was born via c-section before her due date of July 12th, and will be spending a bit of time at Kosair Children’s Hospital before she’s able to come home.

I saw her, and she’s unbelievably beautiful.

And tiny.

For the record, I suck at remembering birthdays. Still, this is one date I doubt I’ll have any trouble keeping up with…

    Grandchildren are undoubtedly the most unbelievable, delightful things in the whole wide world. The only way I know to describe it (and you don’t know until you actually get one of your own & they get here) is that your heart just grows & melts as soon as you lay eyes on them…
