Whenever it snows, I always share photos here on WhatIfItDid. In the past, I would most often times share a shot taken off the back deck in the Ville of the neighbor’s red barn. But now, I live in a world of trees in threes…
There’s no barn in neighbor’s yard across the street from the 80’s house — matter of fact, the landscaping is such that all trees are planted in threes. Seriously. Check it out in the photo above! (Note to self: Every time you plant a shrub or a tree, you must plant 2 more to keep it company.) Yes, it’s beautiful… but I’d be lying if I said I like it better than what I looked at out the front windows of the house in the Ville.
Part of it is I’m homesick I guess. I’m not far from friends and family… but it’s the HOME I miss. You know, the one I struggled to keep when I was as poor as dirt and that I raised my family in. Guess it’s time to make some memories here…
