I can’t believe I’m sharing this photo of me, but you’re supposed to be able to laugh at yourself… right?
Craving a new pair of frames, I thought I’d check out Warby Parker because they stalk me on every site I visit (gotta’ love ad tracking!). Because you order their glasses online and can’t try them on like you might at your friendly neighborhood optometrist’s office, they offer a virtual try-on experience. Very cool.
The frames I chose are clear, but in the virtual try-on image they look like a lovely pair of swimming goggles. For the record, I couldn’t commit to the $300 bucks based on this photo, but I might get brave and choose something else.
If you, too, need a pair of prescription glasses and would like them to look like you’re wearing swimming goggles, put your hair behind your ears, fire up your computer’s camera and try it out for yourself! Just know if you visit the site one time you’ll see their ad every time you visit Facebook.
