I’m pretty happy those pesky neighbors are stuck in the Ville when customarily they would already be in Florida for the winter. Mom’s release from care after oral surgery and follow-up procedures won’t come until after the first of the year. ::snicker:: I’m so sad they must endure a few cold, Midwest winter months ::cough:: ::cough::, but figure I’ll get the most out of them while they are here.
At home in the Ville, I rarely have visitors. Let me get to the 80’s House Project location and it’s a revolving door. Between mowing and moving stuff and buying items and feeding me — I keep this duo pretty busy. Don’t tell them, but I appreciate their help more than they could ever realize. And, the best part is this: although they would prefer to be in a warm climate during the holidays, instead they will be spending them with ME this year. I’ll admit that I’m thrilled at their misfortune.
I wonder how THEY feel about spending Christmas with the family this year…
