We draw with chalk, crayons, pencils and pens around here. Besides the standard rainbows and hearts, Coco loves drawings of pigs, butterflies, cats and birds. And ladybugs. When she found a real, live ladybug she was fascinated. (I only got nervous when she wanted to kiss said ladybug!) It was so much fun to watch as she learned by discovery — and to see her expressions as she compared the real bug to the drawings she’s seen so many times — to experience the moment that the flat drawings came to life.
