2 reasons to be happy you live in the ville (or someplace similar)

Mar 14, 2011

Yes, it’s barely 40 degrees and raining. And it’s Monday. And I’m sleepy. Still, today I’m thankful I live in the Ville. Ok, not really all that thankful to be living in the Ville, but extremely thankful I don’t live in Brazil.

2 reasons (Please don’t ask me to come up with more.)

Spring is right around the corner! Proof? Easter lilies are in full bloom. I walked outside in the rain (wearing sweatpants that are a tad too long that are now soaked on the bottom 2 inches) just to get this photo.

What about Brazil you say?

Researchers have identified four new species of brain-controlling fungal parasites in two sites in the Brazilian rain forest. Ok, so RIGHT NOW the parasites only control the minds of carpenter ants, but I am pretty sure the ants are just a test for these fungi dudes! Once all the carpenter ants are transformed into zombies, the parasites will probably start on the human population. The BRAZILIAN human population. Zombie transforming fungi are way too important to invade the ville.
