Don’t misunderstand… I love iheaters. The infrared heat is amazing. What I hate is purchasing a Bob Villa endorsed, Sears-sold piece of crap. The EdenPURE® above sounds like a jet flying over, and the racket started less than one hour after I turned the bad boy on. Of course, Sears wants me to return it to the manufacturer (thanks, assholes Sears) and the manufacturer wants me to pay shipping both ways just to get a repair.
I purchased this brand on the reputation (now tarnished in my book) of Sears. Reading reviews online, I’m certainly not the only one.
I guess the lesson here is pretty easy to figure out… sometimes making a profit at the risk of your reputation doesn’t really translate into profit at all.

Some users of social media simply don’t know that there are rules of etiquette that should be followed. Especially Facebook users. Obviously. You could do a Google search (or let me do it for you), and find there’s plenty of articles out there to help you figure it out.
Or, you could just use a little common sense…
Share and “like” buttons are there for a reason. USE THEM!
Of course, if you see an image you’d like to download and save, there’s a download image option. That isn’t so you can steal what belongs to someone else and post it in your status like it’s your own. Stealing isn’t nice, and you should know better. Sharing IS nice, and you should know that as well.

I seriously hate junk email. Everyone hates SPAM — but me? I hate all the crap stuff. For example… when I purchased a Honda CRV, the salesman asked for my email address. He mentioned I would receive one survey request that was important insofar as dealership rankings or something like that. He DID NOT mention that it automatically adds me to a bajillion lists where Honda can pummel my inbox with garbage.
I took the first survey request sent by email and they’ve been pestering my inbox ever since. Yesterday, Honda sent another survey request (it will only take 5-10 minutes of my time…are you kidding me??) and, this is about the 5th time they’ve reminded me to take it.
I would suggest that Honda needs to focus more on what I want — and that’s not an inbox full of stuff from them.
Dear Honda: I really love my CRX — it’s exactly what I was looking for when I purchased it, but… I don’t need a snowboard attachment. Or all-season floor mats. Or daily reminders to go to the Honda eStore. And, I don’t want to fill out even one more of your damn surveys. TYVM. Yes, I’ve unsubscribed because you’ve turned the first really good car buying experience I’ve ever had into one big pain in the butt. Leave me alone already.

I recently downloaded Lightroom BETA (released as a free update on labs.adobe.com) in an attempt to organize photos that were left hanging out on computers I no longer use. Since I’m still committed to this project 365 thing (what WAS I thinking??), I may be plugging some old photos in with current ones. Like today, for example.
Where’s Waldo?

I can seriously pick out a bunch of people by nothing more than an ear or a hand. I hope you know a few of these “Waldo” people too.
And, I know what you’re thinking, and it’s not allowed. Yes, I know I have some strange hair thing going on. No, I’m not really all that tall — Sherry is short and I was wearing heels. Plus, I’m not mad. It was hot. Really HOT that day.
More on Lightroom coming soon…
In the ville today? We don’t have enough snow to even matter…

Jan 12, 2012
It’s only a teensy bit winter in the Ville today. Nothing outstanding. Not really even worthy of a photo, other than for the fact this is the most snow we’ve had so far this winter season.
