On this last day of 2012 (and last post for “project 365”), I thought about doing “a year in photos” movie to share. But I’ve done that before and it’s easy for anyone that cares to go back and look in the archives since I posted every day in 2012 with the same “project 365” tag anyway. And then, I thought about adding a cute photo of Coco in a party hat, but ultimately decided against that too.
Instead, I am going to share words of wisdom from… wait for it… wait for it… DEAR ABBY, of all people:
“The best index to a person’s character is how he treats people who can’t do him any good, and how he treats people who can’t fight back.”

Of course, even those simple words of advice can be interpreted in many ways, but as you read them, please realize that there are MANY reasons for which one cannot fight back. Sometimes it’s because they know it’s better to simply let some things go… or maybe they know by fighting back others might be hurt by the fallout debris. How you treat those people matters too — and how you behave toward them is a sure sign of the type of person you are deep inside.
No resolutions this year for me (even though I’m pretty proud that I made it through project 365!!). I’m just going to do my best to remember those words from Dear Abby — and surround myself with people who do the same. Happy New Year, you guys!
