birds and peanut-butter toast

Feb 11, 2013

I stay up waaaay late at night because it’s quiet around here during those hours. And, I’m usually the first one stirring in the mornings too. Mornings are when I open the office window — even if only a crack — to have that first cup of coffee and listen to the birds sing. It’s that 30 minutes I spend coaching my brain cells to cooperate, and motivating them to be productive for the next several hours. Oftentimes, before I get that first cup of coffee finished I have company.

Coco is a morning girl

Coco giggles at the bird’s chirping and wants peanut-butter toast. When you’re two, peanut-butter toast is not the usual breakfast because it’s REALLY messy, you guys. Oatmeal that’s been slung about is easy to spot and clean up… peanut-butter hides itself in places I don’t even want to think about. I count on the dogs to take care of it later.
