Just the other day, I shared details about Seymour High School’s gym and the number of people packing it for the sectional. Today, the regional games were held in the same facility and this entire side of town was bustling. My house isn’t all that far from the school I guess, but still quite a hike from here to the front door of the gym — and that’s where some had to park so they could attend.
Of course, I’m the girl that ran to town for a few things and tried to get home at the exact same time everyone there was trying to leave. Maybe that’s what living in a bigger city is like all the time — and if so, I hope they’ve built roads to accommodate the traffic. Even when there’s not over 8k people at one event, US 50 through Seymour is a mess during certain times of the day. If we keep growing, we’re going to need to add another couple lanes.
