now that’s scary

I’ve never been a huge fan of Halloween as a holiday. I guess it has to do with living in the country most of my life and not having lots of ghouls and goblins knocking at the door. I do remember being a kid and hitting neighborhood houses while at my Nanny’s in town — feeling my face get hot under a mask while the crisp air cut sharply through my flimsy costume (whatever it was). It absolutely feels and smells like fall.

Today I probably felt the most excitement about Halloween that I’ve felt in about 25 years or so. Ben ordered Coco’s costume. I’m set to be in Vegas by then… but I’m not sure I can miss seeing her dressed up. Crazy to think about staying in the Ville for a holiday I’m not crazy about in the first place. =)
