serenity

Serenity as defined by the almighty Google is the state of being calm, peaceful, and untroubled. If it had a picture to describe that word, I’m pretty sure it would look something like the photo above. At least for me anyway.

And to make it even better? If you look closely, you’ll see an IU ‘weathervane’ lazily stuck in the ground, now crooked and peeking out from behind the pine tree. You know that summer is almost over when I’m thinking about college basketball and watching football pre-season games.

Speaking of pre-season games… I guess that Thursday is when Perry and I stop speaking to one another. And, the day he might get fired. Bengals (Perry’s favorite team) VS. the Colts. Just to get this out there ahead of time: the Bengals lead all-time results against the Colts for PRE-SEASON games (which means what? NADA!) with a 13-7 record. BUT… the Colts top all-time win results for regular season games against the Bengals with a 16-9 record — which is the only thing that matters anyway. Been nice knowing ya, Per.
