thanksgiving week

During work calls last week, I was surprised to hear so many of my connections bragging that their employees are off all week for the Thanksgiving holiday. I could do that too without fear of losing my job (fire me? I think NOT), but somehow that just doesn’t feel “right.” I’m pretty sure my feelings stem from the “customer experience” thing embedded in my brain.

Why should someone wanting to do business with our organization — or any other place of business — be expected to wait a week to get what they want?
