Getting a natural smile when photographing Coco (my one and only grandchild) ain’t no tea party. It’s seriously next to impossible. She’s two. And, I’m not expecting that task to get easier over the next couple years either. She is the daughter of my son — who will surely go down in history as the world’s hardest person to photograph without some goofy face.
Candid shots are about as good as I can hope for… a quick snap as she’s doing something she enjoys or thinking deep thoughts about who knows what. Coco’s not yet at that age where you can gameplay to create honest to goodness expressions. Maybe you have someone similar that you’ve tried to photograph too. Good luck with THAT — it ain’t no tea party. 😉
