time capsule tuesday – red, white blue festival 03

Jun 7, 2011

The annual Crothersville Red White & Blue Festival is coming to the Ville this week, so I thought you might enjoy highlights from the 2003 festival.

This year’s event begins on Thursday (June 9th-11th) and you can read more about the festivities and get the latest information on the happenings by reading this article in The Crothersville Times online. Don’t miss the parade and all the other awesome stuff at the 36th RWB Festival — visit the Ville to salute veterans and our nation’s flag.

The Red White and Blue Festival is coming in a piece at a time! Crothersville resident and good samaritan, Rex Kovert, equipped with a tractor helps ready the town of Crothersville for the annual Red White & Blue Festival that starts Thursday, June 12th. The 25 foot rock wall wouldn’t have made it without his help!

The following is a screen shot from the 2003 crothersville.net “hot news” page that contains a few more photos. Check out the last entry about Tim Green! In case you’re wondering, Tim was elected to a State FFA office.
