Photo treasure:
I love the way that Bonzo (Scott’s hound) is looking at one of those pesky neighbors in the shot below. Scott had just finished talking about the possibility of Mom dog-sitting. I’m pretty sure Bonzo was sizing her up to see if she’s truly worthy of the honor.

I’ve been reading about the California Assembly passing legislation prohibiting pharmacies and grocery, liquor and convenience stores from giving out plastic bags. My first thought was how many freaking bags a Wal-mart cashier requires to pack-up $100 worth of items. My second thought took me back to those good ole’ days when my family operated a grocery store in the burg.

Inside after a little too much sun (heh – ok, a LOT too much sun), I wanted to share a photo I took earlier today.
