Yesterday, Angela Bard was found hanged in her garage. Rumors are flying around the burg like gnats on a soft banana. When it comes to drudging up dirt on someone, even death doesn’t spare you the critical opinions and cheap shots of gossipers. That’s one of the downfalls to ‘close-knit’, small community living.
I don’t know what’s true insofar as how Angela lived her life — and I don’t really care. She was always nice to me. My fondest memories of Angela were made during our town’s Red, White & Blue Festival where she shared parade judgeship with me and Alisa. I am sorry her life ended so soon, and I have sympathy for her family — especially the 3 children who are left behind.
