Do you ever start surfing the Internet for one thing, run across something totally different, and then end up wasting a ton of time — I’m talking to the point you can’t remember what you were looking for in the first place? I do it all the time. Matter of fact, that’s how I get some of my best ideas! Today I wandered upon a site that didn’t do anything for me other than toss me into that wayback machine again!
Go ahead — I dare ya — watch some of these 80’s music videos! Smile at the big hair and pathetic acting… waste some time today. It’s Saturday! Yippee!

Sometimes I look at Libby and wonder what she’s thinking about. I would like to think that she is pondering the meaning of life, or maybe reciting some poetry in her head…

But most likely, she’s chasing bunnies and dreaming about that bowl of chili she had for dinner last night.

We’re a curious bunch, and are always looking for something funky in photos where we can say, “made ya look!” This was simply a test for an upcoming project.

Made ya look! 😉

Ever hear of a man named T. Boone Pickens? If not – you should look him up.
Pickens has launched an ambitious plan to free our country from foreign oil dependency and start using alternative fuels for transportation. You can read about his plan here.
The 80-year-old Pickens has already ordered 600+ wind turbines for what would be the world’s largest wind power farm. Pickens has called for wind turbines to be placed from the Texas panhandle up to North Dakota.
These farms, if completed, would supply the country with 20% of the nation’s power into the power grid. Pickens plan also calls for natural gas to be diverted from existing power plants for use in automobiles. While natural gas burns cleaner, it is not a renewable fuel source – something critics to Pickens plan point to as reasons for not supporting it.
While the plan in itself is fascinating, it is a risk and comes at enormous cost.
So read up on this interesting plan and see for yourself whether this is a step towards our energy future – or an energy “pipedream.”
