The US government released a report Tuesday (8/4/2009) estimating the cost of raising a child from birth through high school at $292,000 when adjusted for inflation. (Here’s a link to the full article.) Someone needs to do a report (not the government with tax dollars or anything — that would only add to the problem) and estimate how much more you’ll spend in these challenging times continuing to raise your children.
