How much is luck to blame (or credit) for your failures (or successes)?
If not for the good-luck horseshoe on the back of the truck above, I wonder what its condition would be. And think about this…If Gates had lived somewhere else growing up, missing out on the early access to computer programming experience, he may not have had the idea to start Microsoft. He was in the right place at the right time.
But it isn’t ALL chance. You can’t just sit back and wait for luck to take its course! You have to get yourself out there. Right? The only thing separating somebodies and nobodies is that somebodies have seized an opportunity with an awesome outcome. Your next big opportunity could present itself at any time (luck) — but you’ve got to be ready for it (preparation, talent and ability).
So how much is luck to blame (or credit) for your failures (or successes)? Would you say 50/50? You think you have no luck at all?
