I love to read, so the whole ebook thing is handy considering I live in the armpit of the world rural Indiana where you have to drive 15 minutes to get someplace that even SELLS a real book. It’s awesome to download the book I want instantly at a decent price without driving to an honest to goodness bookstore Wal-mart.
I have an iPad and a Nook. I have Kindle’s reader on my PC (not on my MAC) and I have the Nook app on my iPad, iPhone and my MAC (not on my PC). I think. And, I’ve purchased books through Barnes and Noble and Amazon and iTunes. But then I go to Google books and clicky-clicky and buy a book there too and even download their app for my iPad. WHY??
I can buy the same books from all places for about the same money. I can’t transfer my purchases from one reader to another after I buy them — but they all have apps so I can read them on whatever I have with me, EXCEPT I can’t read my Kindle books on my Nook. It’s time I pick what I like best and simply stick with it!!
In other news, the $4.00 book light purchased in Hell Wal-mart has a battery whose longevity is about 4 times that of the Nook’s $25.00 book light.
I seriously need to spend less time on this ebook obsession and buy some gifts to put under the tree!! Fa-la-la-la-la!
