I’ve mentioned before that I love what I do insofar as work, but I have to admit that I think I’ve found a company that lists job perks that have me thinking my job is maybe not all that great. At a minimum, I need to confront my boss and propose a new set of rules. For me. Not for Perry. And to think, this all started with my post about my favorite iPhone and iPad apps (you can read it here).
I don’t know how many touchwriter apps were sold as a direct result of my post, but more than a few people emailed me with kudos and horrific handwriting samples. I figure that makes me an expert — extraordinary marketing guru and awesome sales specialist. Definitely. And then I go through my list of favorites and find that I forgot to include another rad application called HeyTell (more on that later), and while I’m looking, I click on my DropBox account and notice this link that they are hiring. Hiring? Hmmm…
Seriously, does your job have perks like that?
I would’ve applied for a position but they don’t play World of Warcraft. DropBox, you just lost the opportunity to have in your employ the best extraordinary marketing guru and awesome sales specialist ever. Sorry about your luck. And I even love laser tag. And California.
And one last iPhone app you should grab is HeyTell. It’s push-to-talk voice messages — just like text messages but you don’t have to type anything and people HEAR your message. It’s incredibly cool.
Warning: HeyTell can also be really annoying. Like when you’re rooting for the Colts in the playoff and you get ‘laughing’ messages when they lose. That’s so not cool.
