Wireless technology to exchange data over short distances = Bluetooth (pretty much). It’s everywhere! My keyboard is Bluetooth and so is my Jawbone. My car has it – chances are yours does too.
So I’m driving a fairly long distance and of course I want to be safety conscious, but I have a few details to arrange and simply have to do it by phone. No worries. The whole hands-free calling feature in my car is amazing. I simply say a few commands and never have to take my eyes from the road.
Me: Call Name
Car: Say Name
Me. Ben Amick
Car: Would you like to call Perry Cremeans?
Me: No.
Car: System off.
(Repeat above at least 3 times.)
Me: Call Number
Car: Say Number
Me: 812…(insert Ben’s number here)
Car: Would you like to call Perry Cremeans?
Me: NO!! Call Ben Amick!
Car: Delete Perry Cremeans?
Me: NO!! Don’t do that.
Car: System off.
