are you sure that’s what you meant?

I received an email the other day that used a word that was in the wrong place at the wrong time. I knew what they MEANT, but it wasn’t what they typed. For the record, arms are NOT agitated, they are amputated. Blame it on spell check I guess — that was only a little annoying.

The episode to the left was quite a bit more annoying because it had to do with ME making the mistake. Perry sent me a text message while waiting in the drive-thru at KFC. After watching the new ‘pot pie’ commercials that are on every 10.2 minutes non stop, we were ready to try ’em out. I’m sure the missed translation had nothing to do with my southern drawl, and EVERYTHING to do with Siri, my friend and personal iPhone assistant, becoming lazy in her duties.

Dontcha’ hate when that happens?

The KFC pot pies? Ok but not great. Huge pieces of chicken and vegetables, but a bit too much hard crust for me. It does feel like you’re eating a meal as opposed to a mere sandwich, and was pretty good for a change. But, I’d trade ’em in a heartbeat for just one of my buddy Alisa’s mini meatloaves! Or 1/2 of one of her twice-baked potatoes. Or an apple turnover thingy. And, Coco wants one of her famous ding dong cupcakes! Now please.
