I’ll have a few road-trip photos to show tomorrow, but today I’m sharing something else. Because I’m not really here. By the time you read this, I’ve already left, and may even be back home.
I said I would post something for every single day of the year, and I’ve done that since 1/1/12. I hate myself more each day for making such a goofy goal because some days, I simply don’t have anything to share. Like today for example. The only thing I have to talk about today is another movie and the fact that my hair isn’t purple anymore.
We Bought a Zoo is a cute movie that was fun watching at home, but I’m glad I didn’t go to a theatre to watch. The cool story behind the story is that the movie is based on a real life zoo-purchase adventure (Dartmoor Zoological Park). I thought some of the dramatic events were a bit overdone, but Maggie Elizabeth Jones is the cutest little girl on the planet. Except for Coco who is MUCH cuter. And smarter.
We Bought a Zoo is better than watching Nancy Grace for the 2nd or 3rd time in one night, and especially beats the towing reality shows, the storage unit buy-out shows, and any show based on female hog chasers. It’s cute, will make you smile, and just maybe plan a trip to the zoo.
In other news… my hair isn’t nearly as purple anymore. Why, washing with a couple bottles of little dishwashing liquid and you can barely tell it was ever purple at all!
