Crazy busy and no time to spare, Sunday, Father’s Day, was my first time in the pool this summer season. I stuck my feet in once when the water temperature was like bath water but still cloudy, and I stuck them in again when the water was crystal clear and inviting but much to cold to enjoy. Yesterday, I FINALLY enjoyed a day outside in the sun. Perry, professional grill chef, served his special dish — blackened hot dogs.
Ben spent Father’s Day with Coco and I’m not sure how it could get any better than that for him. Coco loves water more than just about anything (so tired after playing in the pool she almost fell asleep sitting up in the grass picking clover flowers), so she thought the day was amazing too. And I’m just happy to be out from behind the computer screen and with those I love.
