One of the many RSS feeds I subscribe to is Boston.com’s “The Big Picture.” I love looking at all types of photos… from people to landscapes to cityscapes — I enjoy it all. But today’s post got even MORE attention from me because all submissions were Extraordinary Microscope Photographs.
I think it’s extremely cool to SEE things we can’t see just by looking around. I’m certainly not planning on getting up close and personal with a stinkbug egg, and I doubt that’s high on your priority list either. And in case you’re wondering — my pets are inside where it’s nice and cool with plenty of water. On days when temps reach over 100 degrees, I’m temped to just drive around and find animals that aren’t treated as kindly. And do “citizen’s arrests” just like Gomer Pyle.
Remember… everything outside in extreme heat needs a drink.
