i am connected

Jan 13, 2013

I am the owner of two mobile phones. One is AT&T and is a local number for the Ville, and one is Verizon and is a Vegas number. Just keeping up with calls around here is a full-time job without trying to manage two phones. It’s a simple fact that while one carrier has great service in certain areas, another carrier has great service in other areas. And, to make it even more complicated, I have an iPhone (my choice of any phone out there!) AND I have an android phone too. Of course, that means I have to keep up with apps.

I am truly connected!

But I guess it’s not a lot different than when I had a landline and a cell phone (other than I have no clue what my one phone number is) — because that’s one thing I simply don’t have anymore. In 2010, CBS news reported that only 1 in 4 homes still had a landline phone. And… that number is reported to have declined even more to date. I have friends that I know still have landlines, but I never opt to call those numbers. I call their mobile number because I know that no matter where they are, I’ll be able to reach them. Do any of you ever call someone’s landline before attempting to reach them on cell?

2 phones is 1 too many?
