Since the April 2013 explosion in West, Texas, I often wonder how much anhydrous ammonia weighs EXACTLY — and how far a city block really is. Because sometimes when you live in the country, your nearest neighborhood business has a big ole’ tank of it to sell for agricultural use.
I remember a few years back some idiots were stealing anhydrous from that big tank. They got caught and arrested and Buster was called to tow their vehicle. They were already out of jail and calling to get it back before the engine was cold. I don’t know if anyone else has attempted that same crime at that same tank before or after the one occasion I know of, but if I blow up I’m blaming it on drugs. Meth cookers to be a bit more specific.
