Close to midnight, I slipped outside to grab a photo of the moon. From most every interpretation I’ve ran across insofar as the meaning of “howl at the moon” — I understand it basically means chasing an unattainable dream. You can cry out or try as you may but ‘the moon’ or ‘the dream’ is so distant and out of reach that it does you no good. It’s like me wanting to be the Pope. Or something similar. Still, it doesn’t mean we shouldn’t all have dreams — even if they are so distant that they’ll never be attained. That’s what goals are for, you guys.
Tonight, do yourself a favor and go howl at the moon (and don’t forget to take your camera).
