I even mention in the “about me” section here on whatifitdid.com that I’m a passionate gamer. Would I lie to you?
The Diablo expansion hit at midnight EST last night and there I was — with my son, his friend, and Perry — battling evil and slaying all kinds of stuff that’s already dead.
But I only do it to help my brain stay young!
According to an article I read, “Playing brain-training video games may help reverse the natural decline in cognitive abilities among older people, according to scientists.” And that whole ‘distinction’ thing that I live and breathe in my professional life plays a role too — how many other grandmothers do you know that counted the minutes until they could login to play Diabolo’s expansion and new ACT V and squeals when hearing the sound of a dropping legendary item?
I figure that would be… just me.
