When kids have play dates it helps teach them how to interact with friends outside of school, cooperate and collaborate together, and to agree on things they like to do.
I don’t need to learn how to do all the those things, but I’m still looking forward to a playdate this week with Jerilyn. I can’t wait to see her new digs now that she’s moved in!
Because she now has a new place, I have decorating fever. I either want a new house — or want to completely redo everything here. Yesterday, I watched 3 episodes of Fixer Upper and ordered a few items from Magnolia Market. Today, I’m thinking about new flooring for my office. ACK!
Her move and new life adventure is turning out to be expensive for me — but I’m hoping our play date will motivate me even more to spruce things up around here. At least paint is cheap — right?
