It’s a lazy Sunday… barely 32 degrees F outside. While sunny, it’s simply too cold to go for a walk or do anything other than stay inside. We’re all resting up and preparing for the upcoming week… planning to apply (personally and professionally) the Ralph Waldo Emerson quote:
The sower may mistake and sow his peas crookedly; the peas make no mistake, but come up and show his line.
Every choice made (or not made) — every action taken (or not taken) — results in a consequence. There are times we all trudge forward without thinking… really thinking… about consequences. Pay attention when you plant those peas, you guys. Unless you’re a dog. The whole “what if” thing doesn’t apply to dogs because they don’t have the mental bandwidth to understand the process. Sadly, neither do some people.
The difference; however, is that dogs don’t have a ton of important choices confronting them as humans do — not many peas to sow.
