two things trimmed that turned out just fine

CABLE TV:
After trimming cable from my life, I’ve struggled to find a solution. I started with DirecTV Now when it had all the channels I wanted for $35 a month. In about a year, I was paying $50 bucks a month and two of my favorite channels were missing. AT&T (who bought DirecTV in 2015) then lost nearly 1 million customers. I was one of them.

Next I tried — and trimmed out — Hulu Live TV. For $45 a month I got the channels I wanted, but the guide was crap and the interruptions many. Imagine watching a crime drama… you’ve invested right at an hour. When you’re about to find out who the villain is, your screen locks up and goes to commercial. Every. Single. Time.

I’m currently paying YouTube TV $50 a month for 70+ channels. I’ll let you know how that turns out but will give you one tip: DO NOT SIGN UP WITH A G-SUITE ACCOUNT. Use your personal Gmail account so you can set-up a family plan.

HAIR:
On a whim, I let my Mom trim my hair. Scary considering she used to give me pixie cuts when I was a kid using a razor on dry hair. (Ouch!) She did pretty good, you guys! So good that I’ll likely have to travel to Florida this winter.
