Not even 10:30 AM and it’s already 80 degrees on this 1st day of October. Streets in Seymour are closed for the annual Oktoberfest. They begin setting up today. That means food choices around here just quadrupled. YUM!
In years past, jackets were barely enough to keep warm while walking the streets of Seymour for the festival (for example, my post from 2015) — especially at night. This year, I feel sorry for those serving hot food on the street.
It does LOOK like fall even if it doesn’t FEEL like fall.
Today should be around 95 degrees with a 25 degree drop in temps by early next week. Dharma thinks she’ll hang out inside until then. (Don’t tell her fall is only going to last 2 days. (The forecast is calling for temps back in the 80’s for who knows how long.)
