I was in this routine where Gracie and Dharma slept until I was ready to get up. Neither needed anything special — just food, out to do their business a few times a day, and love. Things are different now!
My office during the day has a crate and an additional doggie bed… along with a toy container that’s normally empty — meaning the toys are strewn across the floor, as well.
While it may look like Dharma lovingly has her arm around her baby sister in the photo below, in reality she’s holding her down.
Someone should’ve probably held me down so I didn’t write a FB post this week. I try to only post positive things there and rarely do I get mad or upset about anything I see or read. Sure I get tired of the political rhetoric and pass right on by that — but I don’t want to see images depicting cruelty shared willy nilly.
When a couple of my friends shared 2 year-old photos of a bleeding dog looking at its severed ears hacked off by assholes… saying it was happening now in Indianapolis… I didn’t take it well and didn’t hesitate to make my opinion known. These photos can’t be unseen. My mind won’t let go of those types of images.
How big of an idiot do you have to be to share something like that and think I (meaning the social media masses) can do something about that poor dog in Turkey suffering from acts of depravity from 2 years-ago? If you’re so moved by something you want to share it — FACT CHECK FIRST ya’ morons!
And then, Facebook tried to ‘make-up’ by showing me this from six years ago:
A wonderful reminder that at this time 6 years-ago, I decorated the fireplace for Christmas and didn’t even have all the flooring installed here yet. This will be Christmas #6 at a house that I intended to flip. 🙂
