human interaction is hard when you’ve been quarantined for 36 days

Apr 11, 2020

Perry’s off on weekends but still operates on 3rd shift time. In other words, he sleeps all day and stays up all night because that’s his schedule. Since I only interact with 2 dogs while sheltered at home, talking face-to-face with another human is an enjoyable and rare experience. That means I stay up until I can’t keep my eyes open any longer. I made it to 5:00 AM ET before going to bed this morning.

Human interaction is hard during quarantine when the human’s days and nights are flipped.

I’d told those pesky neighbors I made cheesecake (cherry is Carl’s favorite). They got me out of bed to get their share this morning. I slept just over 4 hours. 🙁

I also had a drive-by visitor yesterday! Jerilyn & Tader stopped in the middle of the road and we chatted for a bit. I moved out of the way for the few vehicles traveling down our road and never got within 6 feet. Even though I wanted to.

Visitors from down south

I’ve already accomplished my “one thing” for the day. I created and emailed an invoice. I figure a nap is in my immediate future.

Happy Saturday!
