COVID struck my mailman – in a good way

Apr 26, 2020

You know how dogs are supposed to hate mail carriers? Not around here… at least not since our carrier was hit with the “COVID Reminds You to Be Kind” germ. I’ve lived here going on 7 years now and this is a first!

Dude even broke the treat into 2 pieces because there are 2 dogs that want nothing more than to eat one of his legs every day.

Other than income, staying home (even on day #51) isn’t so horribly bad. It more important that my family and friends remain healthy so I choose not to think or worry about being quarantined with dogs. It’s only painful when you look at a family snapshot:

Today is the birthday of my one and only, Ben. His celebration this year is certainly different than it was just one year ago…

Here’s hoping for better celebrations in 2021 — and this year is still not so bad.
