Today is 86 days that I’ve been quarantined with dogs. I’m sick of it, you guys. I’ve been percolating on this little thing I discovered while looking at data.
Obviously, Jackson County and the State of Indiana are not being as careful as the rest of the US as a whole — or at least that’s what the growth percentages show…
5/1/2020 – 6/1/2020
Jackson County Cases:
157 on 5/1 — 389 on 6/1 (up 232 in 30 days) 147.8% increase
Indiana Cases:
18,630 on 5/1 — 34,574 on 6/1 (up 15,944 in 30 days) 85% increase
Deaths in Indiana:
1,062 on 5/1 — 1,967 on 6/1 (up 905 in 30 days) 85.2% increase
Cases in America:
1,091,038 on 5/1 — 1,790,191 (up 699,153 in 30 days) 64% increase
Looks like Jackson County peeps need to stay home!
Fourteen-hundred other people and I spent the ENTIRE WEEKEND at a virtual conference. I’m talking Friday, Saturday and Sunday — from 11:00 AM ET to around 9:00 PM ET each day!! My work-week starts in a few short hours and I’ve had ZERO time off. Even Dharma is tired!
Merida is simply oblivious — nothing new there. 🙂
Happy Monday — hope yours is amazing and I can stay awake!
