It’s rained for days and my yard looks like it’s about ready to bale. Since I have dogs and not goats, it’s going to get worse before it gets any better. Oh well.
In other news, our local bank, The Peoples Bank, closed their lobby for business again because of the rising number of Covid cases. So much information and misinformation, most wonder what’s real. I’m just going to continue to simply apply common sense and caution moving forward.
My “niece,” Katie, injured her leg about a month ago and she’s enduring on-going appointments before surgery. She had an appointment in Greenwood yesterday, so while there I grabbed food at… drum roll please… Thai Spice.
And that’s the most exciting thing that’s happened around here in a while. It’s pretty darned boring, you guys. Nothing to do and no where to go. If that’s not bad enough, Merida chose a spot on the couch with Katie instead of being with me. 🙁
And for my next totally random share, did you know that only 13.4% of the US population is African American? About 9% are lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender. A little over 60% are white. I understand that some of that 9% can go either way insofar as race.
Considering those statistics, I’m thinking… seriously Audible? In today’s times… I get that you might devote 2 of your 3 highlighted sections to target minorities. But all 3?
