Have you ever taken a photo and looked really close at the background only to feel like it’s time to do some sprucing up of your home? I have — it happened to me just today.
The puppies were laying in the hallway. It’s a usual spot although I’m not sure why. Plenty of room elsewhere, they prefer to bunch up in that small spot and make the walls dirty. ARG!
I’ve been wanting to do a few other things but the covid crunch on funds isn’t going to allow that right away. Furniture, new bedding and window coverings aren’t cheap. But paint sure is.
So tomorrow is pick out paint colors day and plan which room (or hallway) to start first. Yippee!
TIL (today I learned): On August 2, 1884, Frank B Shields was born in Seymour, Indiana. A chemical engineer, he began manufacturing shaving cream — Barbasol. By 1936, the operation occupied four buildings in downtown Indy despite the Great Depression. Barbasol was standard issue for troops during WWII. Ole’ Frank even had a special shift for housewives — and also manufactured razor blades, hair tonic, toothpaste and cosmetics. Sold to Pfizer, they continue to manufacture Barbasol to this day.
