Ever had times when everything you see or read strikes you funny? Well… I laughed way too hard while browsing Facebook this evening.
For example… an anniversary photo shared by the happy groom with the caption, “Happy anniversary Sweaty.” I’ve been called “SWEETIE” a time or two (even though I’m not), but not one time has anyone ever called me “SWEATY.”
I’m pretty happy that 2020 is almost gone. You too? Maybe that’s why I even found this funny enough to laugh semi-out-loud at:
What I don’t find funny is that 5 years ago today, we were in Disney World, and today, we are not. 🙁
How severe the pandemic is in the places where people I care about are located…
Daily NEW COVID-19 cases (7 day moving average):
Indiana-62.7 (way down); Jackson Co – 62.7 (way down) — 8.37% infected (same); Florida 46.8 (down); Nevada – 65.6 (down)
Something is odd though… all of a sudden — like in the past few days, a bunch of states went green (low percentages) when they were red (high percentages). COVID just cleared up? Arizona, Hawaii, Kansas, New Hampshire and Utah are showing ZERO daily new cases for a 7-day moving average. I call BS!
TIL (today I learned): Sue Grafton, known author of the “alphabet series” (‘”A” Is for Alibi’, ‘”B” Is for Burglar’, etc — and yes, I’ve read them all) died months after the release of ‘”Y” is for Yesterday’, leaving her one book shy of the complete series.
