I’ve been reading a lot about a vaccine passports for the US over the past week or so. Some states are totally against it, while others are ok with it (notably California), and still others have yet to take a stand either way. Florida’s Governor, Ron DeSantis, was the first US Governor to issue an executive order officially banning vaccine passports. So what does that mean for Disney?
The executive order states, “Businesses in Florida are prohibited from requiring patrons or customers to provide any documentation certifying COVID-19 vaccination or post-transmission recovery to gain access to, entry upon, or service from the business.”
In addition, the newly-enacted law addresses the potential for lawsuits over people getting sick. Hopefully, that means health rules will relax at Disney, my preferred hotel will open up, and I can switch my reservation. 🙂
I’m not a fan of the passport even though I’m fully vaccinated. Wouldn’t you think by the time it could be implemented we’d have the virus under control? Do you support a vaccine passport?
