You know it’s going to be a bad day when it looks like dusk when you awake AND your coffee pot is stopped up. Our forecast is calling for rain all day long. My Alexa keeps reminding me we’re under a flash flood warning. At 8:30 AM, the sky was dark and angry — just like me without coffee. By 9:15 AM, the sun was shining!
Good thing I captured the moment because it was dark and thundering by 9:25 AM. Although it’s almost 10:30 AM now, I’ve yet to get motivated to put in my time on the treadmill. Instead, I’ve been playing with photos in Photoshop while waiting on the descaler to revive my trusty Keurig machine.
Perry’s Mom posted her Senior picture on Facebook — a phone photo of the real thing. I recolored it in Photoshop while wishing she’d done a better job capturing it. A time before fake eyelashes, eyebrow pomade and gel, or microblading, I’m jealous. The hair… not so much. 🙂
And then, I simply had to make this crazy photo of Perry (he got a haircut — like he has hair) into a cartoon…
And then… I made him old… quite a bit older, actually. That’s when I found out that Photoshop thinks old men should have hairy ears. Even if you ignore the bulging mammalian appendage covered in black ape-like hair growth, the end result is enough to scare any normal human…
Although it’s still raining, my coffee pot should be clear of calcification and ready to help motivate me. In the meantime, if you’d like me to age YOU, send me a photo — I’ll be happy to oblige. 😉
TIL (Today I Learned): All beaches in Mexico are property of the federal government. There are no privately owned beaches in the whole country. All of them are open to public use.
