Mozzie left her bio mama yesterday, 5/25/21. She was adopted by my Mama so that makes her my half-sister… sort of. Stopping here to show me the new baby in all her cuteness, the Peskies immediately started ordering me around. She needs a drink; can you get a little bowl with water? Bring a leash; she needs to pee. Blah. Blah. Blah.
Isn’t that just a typical parent? They order the older siblings around and demand they help take care of a baby they didn’t ask for. 😉 If not for the fact that Mozzie’s so adorable and tiny, I would’ve told them I didn’t have a bowl or a leash… and my well was dry.
I plopped down in the grass to take pictures of the crackerjack pup. It only took a moment for her to find my shoestrings. She untied my shoes and we played tug of war — if that’s what you call her pulling the string and me trying to get it away from her.
Just like all new Moms, mine is proud of her newest addition to the family. Neither Scott nor I look a whole lot like Mom — Mozzie doesn’t either.
Those peskies were barely out of the driveway when I went inside and was mauled by my two hounds. I couldn’t even walk down the hallway because both of them wanted to smell and inspect my shoelaces. 😉
TIL (Today I Learned): Currently, AKC ranks the min pin’s popularity as 70 of 197. They rank #37 for intelligence compared to other dog breeds. (Border Collie is #1, Poodle is #2, German Shepherd is #3… and Labrador is arguably #7.)
