Today, Merida ate a shirt — at least a good bit of one — and Dharma stinks. REALLY stinks. After a short rain, she rolled around in the grass and the smell of wet dog has permeated my nostrils to the point that I smell nothing else. It’s still over 90° and that’s AFTER the rain that made my dog stink. I had to take a photo of the stinky wet dog and the lab that hates water.
Before I share it, I have a question for you:
Have you had times you think you look decent in a photo — while other times you look at a picture of yourself and want to gasp? Maybe you want to scream, “That’s not me!” Have you ever taken a photo so bad you’re mortified when it’s shared for others to see it?
If your answer is “yes,” then you understand how Merida feels…
Poor black doggo is obviously having a bad day. Even when she photobombs, her expression makes me snicker. 🙂
COVID numbers are still going up locally (13.07% infected) as well as Indiana as a whole (12.7%). Currently, 15.65% of Floridians and 13.26% of Nevadans are COVID positive. Interesting to note, a healthcare client that postponed our events last year has just set dates for upcoming live events slated to be held near the end of this year. I’m hoping that’s a positive sign.
TIL (Today I Learned): A woman bought a robocaller’s “Car Extended Auto Warranty” so she could figure out who they were. Then, she filed a class action lawsuit against the company for violating Do Not Call Lists. That case is ongoing.
As an aside to that… I had a dude (wearing a t-shirt over a long sleeved shirt on a day over 100°) ring my doorbell yesterday. I didn’t go to the door so he left a business card for “Southern Indiana Pressure Washing.” First, I’m pretty sure you have to have a permit to go door to door in Seymour. (Did he have one?) And second, I would NEVER use the service of any company that sends someone to my home uninvited to disturb me in order to sell me something.
