I personally know of so many people who are sick with COVID right now. Some I know have not been vaccinated while I don’t know the vaccine status of others.
I have a family member in her early 20’s who knew she had directly been exposed before she went to work at job #1 AND then on to job #2 for two full days. I thought if you were made aware you’d been exposed, you should quarantine until tested. Maybe that’s no longer what you’re supposed to do? Think of the number of people that this one person has been in contact with. She has not been vaccinated because… are you ready? She doesn’t want anyone telling her she has to. 🙄
Call me Negative Nancy and say that most people recover just fine. Thing is… some just don’t. COVID is often compared to the flu by those against the vaccine. I know people that have died from COVID and not one person I know has died from the flu. Ever.
So now what?
A Facebook friend posed a couple thought-provoking questions. Because it’s unlikely she’s your friend too I want to share it here:
What do you think?
I want everyone to have a hospital bed that needs one no matter if they’re insured or vaccinated. I also want to sail around the world in my own private yacht. Those are only desires and not reality. Hard decisions are being made and I’m so grateful someone besides me is making them. Here’s a great article questioning the ethics of who is prioritized.
And finally, because the only photo I’ve taken today is an awful one of my doggos with their Chewy delivery… here it is:
