me and Nancy spent time together last night – just like old times…

Sep 20, 2021

In the early evening hours yesterday, I surfed Twitter to see if there was any news on the whereabouts of Gabby Petito. Within just a few moments, there were so many posts being made at the same time the feed was scrolling by so fast it was obvious something big had happened. Sadly, a body was found that was consistent with Gabby in Wyoming and a press conference was scheduled.

While the world was hoping for a different outcome, the news didn’t really come as a surprise. Currently, no one knows what REALLY happened. Hopefully the autopsy will clear up circumstances for the family. I fear even with those results it may never be crystal clear what really happened. So very sad. šŸ™

About the same time of the press release, my dogs started going CRAZY barking. I looked outside a few moments later to find police cars in front of my house! My neighbors were out for a walk so I came outside and we took shelter from the rain under my garage and tried to figure out what was going on.

One of the police cars pulled in the driveway and let us know the house on the corner had alarms that were activated. Upon the police’s arrival, they found three doors open but found no one inside. They figure it was an attempted robbery since the homeowners are on vacation. The neighbor directly to my north (who was at my house), noticed his back fence gate was open too. Since they just got back from vacation in the middle of the night, they don’t know if their construction people didn’t close it or if they too had been targeted.

All of a sudden, I don’t feel quite as safe in my extremely safe neighborhood.

Last night, I watched the Nancy Grace special about Gabby. Just like years ago, she was still pushy and reaching. The only difference is she’s older (aren’t we all!) and her fake eyelashes look like gooey spiders.
