So March Madness is down to the Sweet Sixteen. I didn’t even do a bracket this year and haven’t watched a full game since the start. But the Peskies are watching it like it’s their job, and my favorite brother was in the top 50% of the ESPN challenge. Yup… he’s ranked about 7.4 million and is bragging about it. 🙄
Sleep solves everything.
Instead of that healthy basketball bracket competition, I started my day yesterday with a treadmill walk. Twenty minutes in, the Peskies arrived and I was forced to stop. Once they left I had no motivation to continue. Perry beat my daily steps by over 4k and my competitive self doesn’t care if it’s because it was my day off and he had to work.
But I wasn’t the only one that had zero motivation. Obviously.
Turbulent week ahead.
So here we are on a Monday and it’s going to be a tough week. Only one speech scheduled and it’s in Vegas, but we have a lot of conference calls and such sprinkled throughout the upcoming days. Poor Perry has inventory at his store later this week so 12-hour days are a minimum for all in management. And Ben? He’s still COVID positive.
Merida is a bit salty over her lack of attention and her grumbling is pretty darned impressive. I wonder if some chap stick would help. 😉
TIL (Today I Learned): During a murder trial in 1994, an English jury consulted a Ouija board to convict an insurance broker of double murder. Dude got a new trial but was convicted again without the use of a Ouija board.
