Ben’s A/C isn’t working and it’s 90° F today. Whew! I worked outside for a bit and thought I’d die. I couldn’t wait to get inside where it’s nice and cool. Feel bad that he doesn’t have that option… at least not until tomorrow afternoon when Mr. RepairMan comes. Crossing my fingers that a new unit isn’t required. 😬
It’s looking like summer around here!
Those Peskie’s picked up flowers for me while getting more tomato plants. They even deliver, you guys! The delivery fee was a dog bone and I figure that’s fair enough.
No orange.
My only flower request was no orange or yellow — and I let them know I like pink and purple. They got a big fat “A” because the plants are beautiful! And they are HUGE!
TIL (Today I Learned): As skin matures, its natural antioxidant protection declines resulting in greater oxidation of lipid acid. When lipid acid is oxidized, the chemical compound nonenal is produced. That’s what gives off that “old people smell”.
